The Cardiovascular System

The Cardiovascular System, is composed, as the name suggests, of two pars; the heart and the vascular system. In human anatomy and physiology the cardiovascular system is important in understanding the normal function of the body. The heart is a muscle which pumps blood around the body and the vascular system is the tubing which is used in which the blood is carried to and from the tissue. The cardiovascular system integrates into a number of other systems in human anatomy and physiology, e.g. the immune system.
